Well in Kan and around Thai beaches it is the majority of grown-ups (Thais that is), Thai culture and all. Both of them went in the water as they came out friends of my daughter btw

And we can't forget Koh Larn... the jewel of Pattaya, and the one place where you can use a snorkle and mask near sin city.

There is actually pretty good diving off those rocks and far better than the sandy beaches. Lots of sea life.
