Red Shirts Gather at Radio Station to Discuss Next Move

Laem Chabang:-- Red shirts asked to convene outside the Laem Chabang Peoples Radio station after the dispersion of the rally where many supporters of the red shirts were killed and injured.

Chon Buri, 19th May 2010 [PDN] Mrs. Nitchanan Wangkhahat (a Pheu Thai Party member and 88.75 FM Laem Chabang People Radio’s chief) and UDD leaders announced to the red members from Sattahip, Pattaya, Laem Chabang, and nearby areas to gather at the radio station before planning any moves after the dispersion of the operation at Ratprasong where many red shirts were killed and injured.

Subsequently Mrs. Nitchanan Wangkhahat brought 400 red members to block the entrance of the oil refinery, Thai oil Company by having a 6 wheel truck with amplifier and the leader to speak against the government in their operation at Ratprasong in Bangkok. The rally’s aim was to express the red shirt’s opinion against the violence occurring by orders of the government over the reds’ people coming out for democracy.

Read the article. Thanks to these local red antics (they had trucks of TIRES with them) some schools decided to CLOSE to keep the children safe. I thought such large political gatherings were ILLEGAL under the State of Emergency. Obviously based on recent events TIRES are meant to be used to either threaten to or actually burn things down by the reds.

The reds did not comply with the officer’s request to move from the oil refinery insisting that they were gathered only for the rally and would not use any violence.

Of course, those reds would never use violence now would they?
