Google Confirm Message

Featured Replies

In the fast few weeks I get the following message when I try to do a google search.First I thought nothing about it but I get it more and more often.I'm not on a network and use windows 7 with explorer 8 on true hi speed.

What is the reason of this as before 3 or 4 weeks ago I had never seen this message.

Since the political troubles, several ISP's in Thailand are now behind transparent proxies (part of the censorship stuff). As far as Google is concerned, it see's requests coming in from users as a limited amount of sources - a few IP addresses. Thus, it translates this as automated requests and sends the "are you human" challenge.

Are you using the Tor network... It will give this result. At least when I tried a year ago...

Actrually you are an ALIEN, according to Immigration. :)

We get the same thing too when using (only) the Safari browser, it doesn't happen with FireFox or IE or Chrome.
