Video Surveillance Sw

I am looking for decent pc sw to support 4 video cameras, with recording,

to give surveillance in a pharmacy.

I have a free package, Multiview, that came with the USB adapter for multiple cameras,

but it is useless. As soon as shrink the screen to the bar at the bottom, the programme stops.

What do you use?

Are you using USB cameras? If not, the below unit is what I have at our office. It's a dedicated DVR and accessed via Internet browser and works very well.

I use an Ip system (3 years already) form Hikvision with 4 cctv, HD 1 Tb with native software and I can check with my laptop from everywhere there is a fair ADSL connection.

Paid around 25.000 with installation and 1 year warranty ( in KPG)

Looks like they have a live CD also available for download.
