Going back to the face or body question. I have seen a large number of men with women who are no oil paintings but they do seem to have small bodies. Not especially slim but small build. The men seem to think that that is the main deal & equals being goodlooking. They are usually the same kind of men who claim other women are jealous of them due to their really "gorgeous gf or wife"

One fellow I know married a very plain woman in her 50s (he still fools around on the side). Yesterday, he was telling us that she is very "pretty" because she can get him aroused. To each his own I guess.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder UG. Lots of people fall in love and stay in love with someone based more than just on their good looks. After all, the face and body are going to change, but I would hope that unless the person is a shallow SOB the important thing is the person inside.

That said, I do like myself a bit of eye candy but can't say that it matters if a face is really cute and the body is less than perfect or vice versa. But a man isn't really attractive until he proves he's got a sense of humor and some brains.

I consider that I have a good sense of humour, but it is very sarcastic much of the time. Yet I always have a smile on my face and on most projects I get a nickname such as "Mr Happy" or "Mr Smiley". But that sense of humour does not go down with many people, such as my Thai ex-wife, who laughs at the idiotic (to me) antics of the groups of slapstick comedians on Thai TV.

Partners have to have a lot in common - one or two characteristics shared cannot make up for a dozen dissimilarities.
