:D

Well on monday my wife attended the UK embassy and had a short interview of 10 questions. I'm pleased to say our long phone calls had paid off because even though she elected to have the interview in Thai she felt confident enough to give a lot of replies in English.

She was given her visa after a small wait at the embassy that day. The problem of when to come over to the UK after a small delibration we have decided fate is pointing towards her coming over sooner ( :D:D ) rather than later and getting familar with the surroundings prior to the birth of baby.

We have taken our time in collating the evidence required (In a rather large binder!) and feel we owe a big thank you to the kind persons who have contributed to this forum especially to the heavy weights like The Scouse and GU22. Who could forget the Big Spuds soap on this site.

Again good people on behalf of Mrs Janner now soon to be in the UK and myself my sincre thanks.

Don't forget, when it comes to the ILR application you can only submit it 4 weeks early, ie, 2 years minus 4 weeks from the day you entered the country, but the visa is only valid for 2 years from the date of issue, so you may have to apply for FLR to cover the gap. This is an expensive process. :o Get over here as soon as possible.

5. What is your husbands Mothers name?

6. What is your husbands Fathers name?

My wife was asked these 2, Her reply? "Mum and Dad!"

The ECO then said something like "That's not their names," to which my darling girl replied "Well, that's what he calls them!"
