PATTAYA: -- Angered by the recent attack on an off-duty Police Officer in Central Pattaya by a gang of illegal money lenders, Pattaya Police have begun a mini-crackdown on groups known to illegally lend money in the Pattaya area. Late on Tuesday Night at Pattaya Police Station, Police Colonel Teerapon, the Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police led a press conference to announce the arrest of 11 men who are suspected of running a money lending business. Evidence including many documents and bank books were seized. A Black Toyota Car and eight motorbikes were seized

Ahhhh, could be.

The good thing about this situation is they will have known exactly who to arrest as they've most likely been taking payments off them for years.

One reason for not kicking a sleeping dog...

Seems they knew it was going on, who was doing it, and choose not to to do anything about it until...

so will the 1,666 people have to pay the money back to these lenders now? .... or will the BIB take over the re payments ;)
