Hi, sorry I have no idea so this question may seem really naive.

I want to buy something heavy in Bangkok. It is in bags weighing 25 kilos each. The bags are from different companies. I want it shipped to Phuket.

In the beginning it was just one company, 1 bag and the company ( a wholesale seller) told ME to contact the transport company. I did and got a quote of 3k. way to much. Cheaper to buy it here.

Well now there are other things from BKK, also in 25k (totally legal) bags. As it is something I am reselling with a larger order it can absorb the cost better.

In the end isnt EMS just cheaper? I mean it is only 472 baht to EMS 10 kilos. and about 1000 baht to EMS your motorbike across Thailand!

But my question is what is the system of the transport companies, any idea of cost and price structure and recommendations?
