Australian found dead in his South Pattaya apartment

PATTAYA: -- On Monday, Pattaya Police were called to a third floor room at the Sripaitoon Condo located in Soi Khopia in South Pattaya to investigate a foreign fatality. Inside the room on the floor of the bathroom was the body of Mr. Grant Arnold Dawson aged 62 from Australia. It is thought the body had remained undiscovered for between 3 to 4 days. Staff at the building explained that Mr. Dawson had been living at the Condo for the last 5 years and became aware of a problem after a foul odor was noticed in the corridor, close to the room.

RIP

But it does annoy me when a Ferang dies in Pattaya it is always an accident or sucide with no investigation at all taken place !

We did notice that an electric fan had been knocked over and the front panel on the fan had come away and was lying on the floor. Despite this evidence, Police have recorded the death as accidental

Get used to it.

Over the years I suspect hundred(s) of ferang have been murdered in Thailand and noted down as suicide/accident/natural causes.

think I knew him, nice guy, seemed to keep to himself, he had a few nice motorbikes so wonder if they are still round or if someone appropriated them

Quite a few farang corpses, some in advanced stages of decay, are no doubt lying in various condos scattered around Pattaya--undetected as no one ever happened to notice a foul odor.

I did not know the man, But I can only hope he enjoyed the last 5 years in LOS .. RIP<br>
