Wax and Wire by Loch Lomond, the first track in this video - easily the best thing I've seen on youtube all year.

This has to rank up there as possibly the most mindless thai song ever written ; (especially given the typical predictable b/s format of thai songs, it is indeed quite an accomplishment ).

This is a song by the weirdly named and seemingly marginally talented 3 thai gurl band called; "Blueberry R Siam", or in thai; บลูเบอร์รี่ อาร์ สยาม. It's called "Chi-mi Chi-mi" or again in thai; ชิมิ ชิมิ.

It is almost impossiblt to go to any club playing current thai music and NOT hear this song at some point in the evening, often several times! It's even played on the stereos of the sidewalk beer bars which populate lower Sukhumvit after the bars close.

Sadly I cannot get the mind-numbing chorus out of my head.

my 12 year old niece loves that song and has even got her own little dance routine to go with it. that shes been trying to teach my 1 and a half year old daughter, hands signs and all. kind of cute really to see them mucking around, laughing and having fun !
