One of the best concerts of my life was Huw with Hawkwind at Bath University sometime in late 70s, early 80s.

Bought Hawkwind's Space Ritual double LP when it came out in '73.  Awesome LP.

tutsi, ever consider writing dime novels?  You certainly seem to have enough personal experience to draw from.  Could be a very profitable next calling in life, LOL.  I would snap 'em up!

aw, well...can't seem to be able to focus enough to write anything substantial...vignettes are easy to toss off...and folks are entertained, etc...has to do with my undiagnosed autism, any deviation from routine (sleeping, eating and bodily functions) and I become nervous...

we've all got stories to tell...it's just the tellin' that eludes us...

Great band.  From 1985's Psychocandy.

One of my friends implored me to seriously write a book about my life.  And that was when I was still in my early 20's.  I don't like freaking people out, though, LOL.

well, you know...with a publisher's $100,000 advance up front I might not mind too much if I was to disturb folks with my musings...

'Cochabamba? is that sorta like 'neverland'?'...'naw, it useta be a small town in the bolivian Andes but it's big now...sorta like a bolivian version of Garcia Marquez' Macondo but with real people'

hey...I even got an uncle there who now has dementia that is a ringer for Papet in Jean de Florette...half campesino, evil and scheming he is a very wealthy man...but now spiritually desolate in his dotage...

DB, I played this last night.  Woke up this morning to find my neighbors moving out . . . on both sides!  Any correlation you think?

You're of Bolivian descent, tutsi?  And all this time I had this mental picture of you.  LOL

and we were making out after I had returned from high school one afternoon with this playing on the box and then she dragged me into her bedroom and I said: 'is this cool?'...she had 3 older brothers any of which could've murdered me with traditional justification if we were discovered...she wasn't worried as she knew their schedules and we had the house to ourselves except for the empleada who wouldn't dare speak a word...

it was a lovely old house, over 100 years old and built by her (great?)grandfather in the best part of town...why was all of this happenin' to me?

it was just that old time music...

Timeless, classical, perfection, I intended to post those.

Reminds me too, of my early carefree romantic period,

long before skepticism crept up on me.

While YTubing in search of hidden gems I've come across a lot of gawd awful music.  This one is soooo baddddd I had to share.

tutsi, 16 y.o. 6' and hansum and cheek to cheek on the dance floor in a boite with his 21 y.o. local girlfriend in Cochabamba in 1966...'es un escandalo!'...we burned the place down...

later, I was investigated by the 'division policial de menores'...I lit up a fag and blew smoke in their faces...my clothes were better than theirs and I was a good student at colegio...

Uncle Tutsi, your niece was correct.

You have missed the quite eloquent and sophisticated cataclysmic

socioeconomic message to humanity.  But then, I missed it too.

Alas, I did miss it.  Hopefully another poster will be able to enlighten us as to the deeper meaning within the video and behind the music.  There's something profound there . . . I can almost feel it.  Perhaps some acid might bring it to the surface?

Brilliant track, Clapton at his youthful best.....
