Yep. It takes 4 days to be done. Or pay extra fee (800 THB for an Aussie national applying for two entries visa - not sure if this fee depends on nationality or type of visa or not) for their speedy service, and can be done in 1 day.

Albeit 6 years ago my Thai wife applied for a visa from the Ratchadapisek embassy and picked it up the next day (don't remember the cost). Three months tourist visa.

BTW Elsie, I was in China last week w*rking as you know. Stayed at a hotel called *Chang*hang! :o
