This photo was taken at a trade show in Guangzhou, last week, by Paul Armistead.

It was part of a world map put together by a Malaysian company.

"Maybe the earthquake was a little bigger than we thought!".

I have sent this map to a number of people.

I asked wot they thought.

NONE, mentioned NZ was off West Australia.

Even when I asked if they noticed an error........<deleted>

Ockors, Poms, and Yanks.

Bloody Gillard !!

Cancelled East Timor, now she's moved NZ to Christmas Island to store all the boat refugees.

And PNG seems to have sunk in the global warming nonsense.

Couldn't use East Timor, so she's moved NZ to Christmas Island to store all the boat refugees.

Of course Howard used NZ to take a large number of the processed refugees from the so called "Pacific Solution" countries of Naru and Manus Island (PNG).

Not sure how he blackmailed them to take them in. (Perhaps he promised the Wallabies would lose all their games for the next ten years :ermm: )

This morning, NZDST, OZ let NZ win the 7s Gold medal

Ya gotta love the Ockor rugby guys...

Kiwis tops at coming second

New Zealand's rugby players perform the haka after winning the gold medal.

No wonder New Zealanders are celebrating their Commonwealth Games rugby sevens final win over Australia loud and long.

The Kiwis have proven the masters of coming second at the Delhi Games - and it's usually behind an Australian.

And not only did the 24-17 rugby win maintain their unbeaten run in the national sport through four straight Games since its debut, it also took away the embarrassment of sitting behind tiny Samoa on the medal table.

It was only New Zealand's third gold medal of the Games while they had amassed 18 silver medals.

NZPA's Kevin Norquay worked out that 10 of those silver medallists has to listen to Advance Australia Fair played at the medal presentation ceremony.

As he put it: "For eight days in Delhi, New Zealanders have had to endure Aussies putting a spoke in the wheel of our cyclists, sinking our swimmers, getting heavy with our weightlifters and taking the stick to our hockey players."

Aus 6 - NZ 2 in mens hockey.

NZ 66 - Aus 64 - Women's netball final.

After 2 lots of extra time!

Forget the rugby, the rivalry between these two teams of netballers is among the greatest sporting contests in the world!

Congratulations Silver Ferns, the Diamonds turn next. :D

Rugby is the most popular spots game.

Maybe, doubt the Diamonds will beat the Ferns.

Like the 7's is NZ's most consistent winners.

Gunna be fun 2016 when 7s becomes an olympic sport.

Bring it on, Carn The NZ 7's.

Here we go again.

Chile, now New Zealand, men trapped in a mine.

Big difference, a coal mine full of toxic gases etc.

Time will tell what caused the massive explosion which has trapped 29 miners.

Trapped is hope, personally I have fear for their lives.

It has now been more than 24 hours since an explosion at the Pike River mine on the West Coast trapped 29 miners below ground.

Under dark skies all day, West Coasters went about their business - hoping for the best but painfully aware of the grim record of tragedies in mining.

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10688952 for latest news.

This mine was rated the safest coal mine in the world.

Cannot stop thinking of the guys and their families.

My sympathy goes to them all.

I think the police know. There are no rescue attempts being made until all gases are gone from the mine.

I don't think there will be any miracles this time. My thoughts are with the families.
