Convert Thai 220v To American 110v

Central Department Store has a selection of electric tooth brushing aids and transformers. When I first go here, I bought a very large transformer for my computer and then didn't need it when told later my power chord covered both voltages.

I have three or four black transformers that cost less than 100 baht and are about the size of a package of cigarettes. Most electric shops have them, so shop around until you get the size, shape and price you want.

After three years here, I no longer have any need for a transformer.

Amorn (next to Icon computer center) has a selection of transformers.

another branch in CM.

I don't know Icon, where is it please ?

I bought a transformer at Icon 2 years ago (maybe 300 Baht) & a word of warning: I left it plugged in one day when I wasn't using it & I awoke from a nap to find it on fire! Smoke, flames, everything. Glad I was in the room when it happened. The transformer I have now is one that I brought from the states. In any case, you can bet I unplug it when it's not in use.
