New Law In Thai About Advertising Alcohol?

Is there a new law in Thai about advertising alcohol?

A Farang bar I know in Buriram has been told to take down all advertising, posters, illuminated signs inside and outside, glasses with beer logo’ it just goes on and on.

Also they can only sell alcohol within certain times , like Tesco, is this widespread or just Buriram.

So is this a new law or an old one revamped? Or is just another way of getting extra money?

Sounds like he didn't hand over a particular sum of cash.

Knocked the nail on the head.. as long as you pay what ever the amount of tea money they require then you can pretty much get away with any thing .
