After visiting 'Big C' I was told by a Thai in a computer shop that there is no point in me buying a PC game in Thailand as they are all in Thai and that I wouldn't understand it. Seems a bit strange to me. Can anyone tell me if this is true, and if not where is the best place to buy PC games on Phuket.

Thanks

Tesco theres a shop called "Games Never Dried" (Wierd bloody name if you ask me) and he sells originals.

The manuals and box will be in Thai and possibly the installation routines, but the actual game itself will be in English (in my experience)

Hope that helps

That was the place I was going to recommend. Just bought the game Brothers in Arms. The manual in Thai, but after installation there is an English version of the manual on the disk.

In my experience the manual is always in Thai but the game is in its original language - normally English. Don't think it makes much difference where you buy the game.

The reson why I was asking about where's the best place to buy it on Phuket is because I don't want to get a dodgy copy if u know what I mean!!!!

Anything in a proper box from the major shops (Robinsons, Big C, Tesco Lotus, etc) is going to be a genuine copy. The police have cracked down on pirated software recently so dodgy copies are not so common anyway..
