My Garden Wall

Featured Replies

Personally I would never consult with American experts because they know <deleted> all about building garden walls in Thailand...

:D

Oh yeah?

Well, I believe you know the Yank that runs this Blog & builds garden walls personally Jai Dee.

Does a pretty fair job too, eh? :o

Got one!!! :D

:D

I think that one kinda missed you Boon Mee... :D

Hmmm...you're right, Jai Dee.

Must be losing my edge working around nothing but septics for the last couple years... :D

The other irony is the featured roastmaster is Canadian Pam Anderson....

But she risks losing her Canadian citizenship apparently since her natural Cdn issued parts were customised in the States (something about unnatural alterations and import duties) :D

Someone mentioned coolthaihouse.com. Well, I like it and frankly I could give a crap what nationality the owner is- Yank, Brit, Skandi, Martian, mais pen rais- I s'pose to some in TV land, that's an unacceptable comment... :o:D

...you caunt do that'...

are you swearing at us tutu?? :o

That's tutsi's rendition (pretty fair one too) of a British upper-class pronunciation of 'can't'! :D

actually it was my Tennessee grandfather's rendition of his encounter with a London bobby when on active duty sometime during WW1...he must've been doin' something he wasn't supposed to...

Being of the same bloodline, tutsi, should imagine! :o

Please have a look at my garden wall:

crack.jpg

It (note red arrow) looks like a crack to me. But, some of my neighbors have recently concluded that it is a design feature, cleverly engineered to allow for future expansion.

I consulted with some Americans and they say privately that the entire wall must be rebuilt because a simple repair would not be accepted by the international community.

What do you think?

I took the opportunity to discuss this with Rogert Thesaurus whilst he was being detained for assimilating without a WP and he has assured me there is no problem - he (an american expert) has seen bigger cracks than this man many times on his many jaunts to Nanaland - he has also assured me as well as all other TV members that should he run(way)across a problem "crack" he will yodel for assistance. :o

Bewdy Mike... your thread's been bumped again.

:D

One of the best in Bedlam I reckon... :o

Taoism: shit happens

Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit

Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah

Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Mike, i've just discussed this problem with a Structural Engineer friend of mine. He tells me that you need to look about 3ft either side of this crack to see if another crack is forming. If there is, no worries, your wall just wants to be a door.

Or, did he say "your wall just wants to be Adored" :o either way, don't worry.

What a butt ugly wall!!! The best thing about it is the expansion joint!! You should tear down everything EXCEPT for the expansion joint and start over.

I am glad i have never come across a crack like that before :o

I'm really conflicted about this crack.

When I first posted there was a great deal of interest in cracks.

Then, things died down and I heard nothing about cracks.

Now, cracks are in the news again.

What does this mean?

Well since we cant post pictures of ladies cracks(bum, front bum, boobie) anymore we thought we would talk about your crack instead, admittedly not quite as interesting but it will have to do. :o

Good one Mike. Much more humour here than in many other parts of tv.

Did you try facing the wall and saying, "Open sesame!"?
