Yes I'm spending some time in Sri Lanka in the near future.

There is no "Sri Lankan community area" in Chiang Mai. Don't think there is in Bangkok either, for that matter ... :o

I already have books, but I would like to have a native speaker to practice with. Speaking from my own experience, you can't learn much of a language only with books/CDs.
