Big Lot of Speed Pills Seized in Amnat Charoen

Chiang Rai police have found a dead body with 100,000 speed pills.

Investigators believe the dead man was an alien drug trafficker killed by his own gang.

Meanwhile, in Amnat Charoen, police nabbed two men with a big lot of speed pills smuggled in from Laos.

Two suspects identified as Kitisak Asasri, 30, and Aran Chimasing, 20, were arrested at a police checkpoint in Lao Pruan subdistrict of Amnat Charoen's Muang district after police received a tip off that the pair planned to smuggle methamphetamine pills from Laos for distribution in the country.

Police discovered 30 packs of combined 250,000 speed pills worth about 75 million baht in their pick-up truck.

Police said both suspects confessed to being paid 50,000 baht to transport the pills from the Thai-Lao border in Ubon Ratchathani's Kemarat district to Nakhon Ratchasima province.

Meanwhile, police from Chiang Rai's Mae Sai แม่สาย district inspected the body of a man found in the cemetery of Wieng Hom village only 100 meters away from the Thai-Burmese border.

Police found two gunshot wounds on his body, a .38-caliber handgun and 75 packs of combined 150,000 speed pills.

Investigators said villagers heard gunshots from the cemetery and reported the incident to the police.

No one could identify the dead man.

Police assumed he was an alien from a neighboring country and was killed by his own drug trafficking gang.

That's interesting, the killers left a gun and 150,000 pills on him.

Careless of them.

I would lean more toward someone who may have suffered a personal lose due to drugs which came from this individual. If this is the case, those settling the score can tell those most affected that they have taken care of one source. To bad the kingpins behind the drug mules are seemly the least likely to receive the justice they deserve.
