World's Top Tennis Pros to Join Special Tournament in Hua Hin

Four top tennis players are set to join a special match on New Year's Day in the internationally renowned district of Hua Hin in Prajuabkheereekhan province on the occasion of His Majesty the King's seventh anniversary of the 12 year cycle in 2011.

Chairman of the Lawn Tennis Association, Suwat Liptapanlop, affirmed in today's press conference that world number one Caroline Wozniacki, world number three, Kim Clijsters, and world number one in men's double players, Bob and Mike Bryan, will join the special match in Prajuabkhirikhan province's Hua Hun district.

The event will be held at the Centennial Park Hua Hin on January 1 as part of the country's celebration for His Majesty's seventh 12 year cycle anniversary in 2011.

The matches will be broadcast through ESPN's worldwide network.

Suwaj said Wozniacki will arrive in Thailand on December 27, and Clijsters on December 29.

The pair is scheduled to sign their well wishes for His Majesty the King on December 30 at Siriraj Hospital at 11 A.M., before visiting Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva at the Government House at 11.45 A.M.

Meanwhile, Bob and Mike Bryan will arrive on December 30.

The twin brothers will also hold a training session for youth.
