Do anyone know Showroom F1 Autosport ?

They have loads of nice cars for sale on One2car - such as WV Golf Gti / R, Subaru VRX STI and mitsubishi EVO.

I guess they paralell import these cars - so is there any garantee on them ?

How to be sure these cars can run on the fuel served here in Thailand and again any help from Showroom F1 Autosport if there is any issues ?

I'm currently abroad but will deffently pay them a visit when I return.

Thanks for any info

No warranty, no service.

I have purchased from them back in 2006 and i would never again.

Their cars are cheaper than most other importers because they don't declare the cars for what they are or have a insider to doctor papers.

Take a F430 for example, once registered with a Tabien rot (car title) it is a 2000cc 5 seater car.rolleyes.gif

Buyer beware.

Ask them how it's possible to import a SLR Mclaren and sell it for 23 million baht when all the other are between 60 to 65 million?

Also, a Rolls Royce Phantom for 19.9 million when they are 45 to 55 million at other places.

Just check one2car.com and see the comparisons for yourself and it's obvious somethings not right.

Ok - my budget is a bit lower (not to say much lower) but even in the 3 - 4 mill range I can see they are cheaper with new cars.

The warranty issue is quite important as well.

Thanks again - I will properly pay them a visit but end up at a real dealer shop.

there are several people every year who get their cars confiscated by the customs or asked to pay the correct taxes (which would cost the same as buying from the authorize dealer). There are some reputable grey market / private importers, don't write off all grey market importers as bad. Many will provide warranty for a year as well as oil change, but if you buy from the authorize dealers, I believe warranties are longer than a year.

I have no comment on the mentioned car dealer here, but in general there are several ways to sell imported cars cheaper in LOS

Do not pay car before importing it, could be on leasing where sourced (often UK)

Declare car to custom not truthfully, IOW value, displacement, hp, all 3 essential for how much duty/tax to be payed. Fashion now is to state its a hybrid, only 10% excicetax, not 55%

all grey market cars loose their manufactorers warranty when exported from market of origin. Importer can sell cheap if they never pay any warranty issues and dont supply spare parts
