The Hardest I'Ve Laughed In Years

Featured Replies

For those who don't know this programme, it's been running for years. For those who do, this has to be the best episode ever.

Mooners, truly magnificent..................

brilliant ! , made my morning ... how i do miss these TV shows

Disappointed in you OC................

Disappointed in you OC................

It must be a British thing.

I just don't find the words arse or fuc_ken dropped in a tv show to be hilariously funny.

I'm not saying I'm a wowser in the American sense, I just don't find it that funny.

And this guy, with his very loud voice, facial mannerisms and trademark large squared beard (designed to make him appear larger than life) doesn't strike me as a great comedian. More suited to the, uniquely English, music hall type shows.

Give me the more intelligent style of humourist every time like a John Cleese or Billy Connolly (although he too uses a beard as a prop!)

It probably didn't help that the show and political jokes were so dated.

And before you start, about the only Australian comedian I think is any good would be Tim Minchen.

That much misery in one post must have taken some effort!

British Humor ... best kept at on the isles

Insulting someone who doesn't share your sense of humour is one way to go. <_<

So be it.

It's a cricket thing.......Leave him alone....................................He bites.

Here you go OC, this should cheer you up.........Aussie joke

A bloke walks into a brothel and says: " I'm a bit kinky, how much for total humiliation? "

The madam replies....$60

" Wow , what do I get for that," says the excited punter......

" A baggy green cap and an Australian shirt "........Says she.

OC - Brian Blessed is an actor, not a comedian.

To the best of my recollection, although I am open to correction on this, he started his TV career as a plod in Z-Cars (and that was 50-60 years ago). The crack about "Gordon - he's alive!!" was from the film Flash Gordon, where BB was leader of one of the rebellious groups.

He's always been much larger than life, and has a very high opinion of himself. But before I left the UK i could say that he had never, to my knowledge, said or done anything to hurt anyone. Just a great big noisy oik.

Jeez Humpf, he'll be ticked off even more now. No need to say it three times.................

I've reported myself to the head prefect.
