I went to town to pay my TOT internet bill today, fully aware it was overdue... it took three weeks to get to me then I forgot about it..

I usually pay it at Top Supermarket near the Wang Come but the cashier scanned it, pointed out the overdue date and said I had to take it to TOT office.

Being Sunday I suspected it would be closed so I tried the 7/11 I had to walk past on the way back to the car.

The lad behind the counter typed in the details by hand, apparently all that happens when they are overdue is that the barcode won't scan.

I'll take it to 7/11 all the time from now on, they can have the 10 baht service fee. B)

Nice to see someone take the time to pay a compliment for good service when compliment due. I also find that i get really good service many times in Chiang Rai...not all the time of course but actually MOST of the time.

In all the time I've been here I never knew this, but it's very handy to know - thanks.

Do you know if it applies just to TOT or can it be done to any bill?
