Sofware That Willl Stream Web Cam Video Over That

Featured Replies

Does anyone have experience with streaming live webcam broadcasts over the internet? Which programs do you recommend?

hello engrin

did you mean one-to-one, or one-to-many ?

be frank, I am already experience bad bandwidth problem with one-to-one video streaming. my connection is TRUE 6mb downstream 512kb upstream. upgrade to 8mb downstream 1mb upstream will be few hundreds baht more - the most expensive and most basic interest service in my life :-)

Hi,

IMO your best bet is using a third party site like veemi.com or ustream.tv (this latter one is blocked for me in Thailand).

If you really want to use software and stream it direct from your PC then try http://www.yawcam.com/ which I have used briefly.

Totster :D

Give WebcamXP a try. I've been using it for a few years now.

It's free to use for a single camera and the paid version allows unlimited sources to be streamed.

You can stram from IP camers, webcams or even stream a file.

Pretty easy to use, has a support forum blah, blah blah,

You can also set this up as a CCTV security system recording snapshots from the camera feed or recording the video.
