I got one!

At Lotus, not in the supermarket part but a small shop selling computer games kind of tucked away in the middle, near the furniture shops.

It's really cool too, the screen is amazing. Played Ridge Racer for 6 straight hours yesterday :o:D

Price? I know the place you mean, has a funny name "Games never dried" - must be a Thai thing :o

Asking price was 15,900. I paid 15,000 for the value pack (game, headphone w. remote, memory card, pouch) and got another game for 2,000 after I argued her down from 2,900.

Probably could have got it for less but I am hopeless at bargaining :o

I apologise for bumping my own thread but tonight I saw PSPs in the computer game shop at Ocean Soi Bangla for 11,500 Baht :o . They are the newer model with the v2 firmware I believe and they have the white one which is rather neat.

If any of you crackers want the v1.52 firmware version then drop me a PM, I'd happily part with mine to get my paws on a v2 one as I'd like the browser firmware stuff but can't seem to hold a connection long enough to upgrade, and the anti-crack stuff built into v2 is not an issue for me.
