Lost Talents

Featured Replies

Somebody bought up a Queen tune on my facebook page today. It got me thinking just how much great music the world has missed out on because of Freddie's death.

This thread is all about those who left us too young in their lives. The theme is quite self explanatory.

Here's two for starters:

And the Big Bopper and Richie Valens on the same flight. What a loss.

There's a very big list of Rock stars to pick from for this thread:

Rock Dead

You could probably just use all those who died aged 27! They include Janis Joplin, Jimmie Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain to name just a few.

The causes of death make interesting reading.

And that long list is by no means complete - several other well-known names to add.

Very sad - talent in one sphere does not necessarily indicate a talent for living (or maybe staying alive - they all probably enjoyed 'living')
