Ais 3G Aircard Locked?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the 3.6 Mbps 'Air Card' that AIS sell is locked to AIS?

Looking at one that they claim has 30hrs a month for 100b top up on the sim.

It smells of GPRS included not 3G (sold in a area where AIS has 900Mghz so called 3G), AIS normally sell GPRS in house and 3G in gigs used.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this yet?

Chonburi City is where I was looking at it.

You can purchase their air card for 1390 baht and then perhaps purchase a separate NetSIM Go for 3G usage or just buy a generic air card.

If it's a Huawei you can usually change the firmware and dashboard quite easily if necessary.
