Can'T Log On

Featured Replies

I must have done something wrong.

I set my security settings a bit higher this morning, but stupidly I can't find which one (plonker, no need to say it)!!

I cannot log onto any websites that require me to do so that I am not logged onto as a user all the time.

ie, Hotmail, HSBC on-line banking, plus another important financial website.

Any ideas?

Thanks

TP

Have you checked if your computer accepts cookies?

Some high level security settings may block all cookies.

What happens when you try to log in, is an invalid returned in all cases or can't you even get that far?

Can be cookies as suggested or java(script) disabled.

But since you can access sites you are continuously logged into it probably is not cookies.

Hotmail for example, I log in ,up comes the message at the bottom that I have x number of e-mails and then I just get a blank screen with the border and at the bottom it says "done"????
