1 quick suggestion - your breakfast should include tea/coffee AND juice

set2 ,and set4 and 5 does.At 160 baht theres not much profit as there is

I'm all for people having a day off. But you need to tell people just when your day off is If he chooses to have Monday off then great.

And what would be the reaction if I had gone over there to book 20 people on a snorkelling trip to Ang Thong and not just for breakfast? I actually used TK for that but may have asked for a quote ?

As said how many other potential customers did what I did that don't use TV ?

As for the hostile reaction to me mentioning the fact the place was shut ? Just makes me even less likely to go back again to try it.

Isn't Sweeny Todd named after that famous resturant where they used to kill people they turn the human meat into food and serve it up about 100 years ago. Apparently the customer food the food very tastey that was unless they were the food

Q: why don't you post a photo of your shop/outlet and/or make a very simple 1-page website with some photos and details, phone numbers etc.??

Many more tourists would find you in Bophut if you have a (simple) website....not everybody knows about or visit Thaivisa you know, but many stroll around Google if they're planning to go to Samui and want to make local trips or boat tours.

as an ex Samuian i am still suprised that prices in samui are still at least 50% more expensive than Pattaya. I know its on an island but cant justify being so much more expensive. example full breakfast including orange juice 99 baht and 2 cups of tea PG tips in Pattaya's more expensive areas. fish and chips 120 baht, all good stuff, glass of orange would only cost about 5-7 baht . dont know of any other business that closes for a day especially one just starting up, wife holiday one day, husband another.

i used to drink in a bar in fishermans village years ago, that closed Mondays, i would drive down forgetting and think dam_n when i got there so went some where else, then started going some where else more and more until i thought well they are to complacent and dont want my business.

This place is not just starting up.

It's been open for about 3 years now.

Roo you only get to see that they are closed on Monday if you actually stop the car and get out to go look. Maybe it would have been better for them to have mentioned the fact they are closed on Monday on their sponsorship posting ?

Perhaps people like a day off. Come on, why such a strong reaction? But seeing as you are so vexed i think you should be reminded that it was the tour business that was being advertised as sponsor. others came on it seems specially to say how good the food was.
