2011 Motor Show Leaves Bitec For Impact

Featured Replies

I don't understand why this time round the show will be staged at IMPACT, which is pretty far from central Bangkok.

Does anyone know if they have shuttle buses, and where would the pick up points be ?

They have a shuttle from Mor Chit BTS station to Impact 30 thb if I'm not mistaken.

To be fair both BITEC and IMPACT are pretty far from central Bangkok, and the difference in distance between the two and the business district/old city (whichever you define as central Bangkok) really isn't very much. So it's more a question of where you live as to which location is more convenient.

And living in eastern Bangkok myself BITEC is also much more convenient for me :(

I for one won't be complaining! Walking distance from my workplace:) If you can get to Immigration, you can get to impact. Driving from BKK, it would be best to come off at the Muangthong offramp - costs a bit extra but will avoid the bad traffic on Chaengwattana. There are vans from victory monument that that you right into muangthong thani, walking distance to Impact (or get a free ride on the shuttle bus into impact itself).

**sorry I mean the shuttle bus runs around impact itself and you get on and off where you please.
