How many of these lovelies does it take for the catatonic populations to realize that such activities are just a guise for neo-imperialism? ;)

I think most people realise that, that's why the governments don't ask them before they proceed. A better question would be, if your government DID ask you about committing war everywhere, and the majority said no, and they went ahead and did it anyway, what would you do about it?

Throw a Gandhi at them.....refuse to participate. If you don't care how business is done, don't do business with them. Many that tend to be disgusted towards such corporate/government/military activity, don't realize that still continue to feed the system buy participation within the very same system that they rant on against. Remember that old saying: "it ain't rebellin' if you're buying what they're sellin'"

Good on ya! If it works for you, go for it. I too, prefer to distance myself from the maddening crowd and let the cards fall where they will. Independent and self-sufficient from the controlling forces. The masses haven't figured out that the whole magic show has certainly been fabricated for them....

I'd prefer to distance myself too... Unfortunately, I depend on a steady income to pay for my steady expenses.

We, the masses, have indeed figured out that life is easier if you are self-sufficient and don't depend on controlling forces to pay your salary. We call this utopia, or at least bloody unlikely to happen in our lifetimes.

I like to be far from the madding crowd. The crowd can certainly be maddening too. ;)

Does indifference help?

Does indifference help?

It would as far as the crowd is concerned.

As you are a lover of words, I would remind you that the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. ;)
