Maybe. At least at the time, we were thoughtful but now I know it was an illusion. If I remember correctly.

I don't think we are any less thoughtful, but perhaps generally less intuitive; to much is done for us, we are given too much on a plate, so we are losing touch with the need to be intuitive.

Further to that....if the global community continues to be overly PC, then for genetic reasons, we may very well become less thoughtful and less intelligent as a race.

Potential nominees for the Darwin Award will increase proportionately.

The ever decreasing ability might be most aptly apparent within certain human cultures......and less in others.

I think we are probably far less thoughtful now than at anytime in our history. We are also probably more knowledgeable now than at anytime in our history, but I'm not sure that's a good trade-off.
