You should look at the threads from a year or two ago.

Many contributors seem to use this as the last stopping place before dropping out of TV altogether. And they are usually the best posters on the web-site.

Seems a pity, but it is each individual's choice to stay or go. F'rinstance I seldom contribute anywhere else now, except Thai News headline forum, where I try to guide the idiot flamers into sane and peaceful posts (by sticking pins in their alter egos). But what good does that do?

I like it here, but spend more time with circulating 'Open Europe' and Economist's analysis' of the European experiment (failed miserably) than winding up Chuckd and Koheesti.

(UG and Harky are too easy, Neverdie is wound up like a boat's anchor chain)

Actually, it's the only forum on Thaivisa where you can post a topic that doesn't directly involve Thailand. And, there is a fair degree of tolerance on what is posted. It's not really a children's forum. That is usually the excuse for closing topics on other forums...
