Running Win7, I am having issues getting Audio through my USB headsets.

The work when using skype, as I select then in the Skype options panel.

I have been right clicking on the volume icon on bottom right, Volume Control Options, Deselecting Realtek High Definition Audio and selecting Logitech USB headset, APPLY, OK.

No success.

Any tips ?

Also, when the Comp speakers are up at Full volume selected, and skype is full volume selected, it s still very low volume, also when ANY youtube or music is played. Surley ASUS didn't put tiny crappy speakers in for a mouse, anyone else had this issue?

1. Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound

2. Click on the Communications tab and select Do nothing

I too have an asus laptop, and you are so right regarding speaker volume, its crap ! To overcome this I use external speakers which make the volume marginally better .
