Pranburi - Aleenta

Recommended Posts

Guys.........We are just about to book four nights at the Aleenta for early next month. We have found a pretty good deal. Now we don't want to eat often, if at all, in the hotel except of course for breakfast. So can anyone possibly recommend places around that area? Places where the locals eat and also include a couple of nice fish restaurants...thanks

Pran Buri is pretty large, where exactly is Aleenta located.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants is a seafood restaurant in Pak Nam Pran called Udom Phochana Restaurant. This is a sea front restaurant that quickly gets full during lunch hours on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The price level is moderate and the portions are plenty-full. Their telephone number is 081 - 803 1029.

It's a few KM south of the restaurant you mentioned on Paknampran beach.

As for food, this should help...

Fajitas - Great Mexican/foreign food, 150 Baht a dish, 1km south of Aleenta, head towards Khao Kalok, can't miss it.

Don Dor <sp> Resort (also called Chatelet, for some reason)- Delicious, low-priced Thai food, right on the beach, next to Aleenta.

Beach Side Books - home made cookies and biscuits, great ice tea/coffee, opposite Villa Maroc.

Hua Peng - Excellent Thai food, well priced, lovely restaurant, Pranburi town, ask someone for directions.

Enjoy.
