Phuket to endure more blackouts this month

PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced scheduled blackouts to carry out maintenance on high-voltage power lines, install new lines and move power poles.

The dates and locations of the operations, which will be carried out from 9am to 4pm, are:

May 12 – Chalong

Along Chao Fa West Road, from the entrance to Ananda Garden Hill Villa to Home Pro near Chalong Circle, including Soi Pratthana and Soi Anusorn.

May 20 – Chalong

Along Chao Fa West Road, from in front of Wat Chalong to Soi Baan Klang, including Soi Glum Yang and Soi Baan Klang.

May 20 – Ao Yon

From Ao Yon-Khao Khad Road to The View development, including areas throughout Baan Ao Yon.

May 26 – Wichit

Along Muang Thong-Khao Khad Road, from Soi Bor Rae to Khao Khad Viewpoint, including Soi Somboon, Naam Sai Villa, Piam Sook Villa, Soi Baan Na, Soi Pracha Ruamjai and Soi Bor Rae Khao Khad.
