Probably as good for you as a bowl of chicken soup. I like the taste, and many Thai friends have brought me one when I had a cold.

Yup. And it's not the Asians who came up with the health claims.

I may be mistaken, but I remember seeing a Singapore based website that made very overblown claims as to health benefits, I remember thinking that these types of claims would not be allowed in the U.S. without supporting research and confirmation.
