Birth Cetificate Translation Thai>english Where?

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am looking to get a birth certificate translated from Thai to English, for use with visa, poassport applications. Can anyone recommend a place or a few places to get this done in the Bangkok Area.

I have serched the site but only get references to web page translations.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Khun Aus.

There are lots of agencies around the various embassies who will do it for you. Charges vary, but don't pay more than 500baht per page.

There are afew near the British Embassy, fast and cheap. From the embassy follow the road up against the traffic and cross the bridge heading straight on.

Get the translation done outside the Affairs building, take it in to get it stamped (wait 3 days or pay 2x as much for same-day)

Thank you for the information so far. Much appreciated.

Found out first if it's required. We never got O's translated for her settlement visa for the UK embassy, just a photocopy was all they wanted. Same went for ID card and a letter from the hospital.

Good Luck
