Can anyone tell me where I can get new rivets for a two brother exhaust pipe in Phuket? I just need to find a shop that can put two new rivets on the exhaust pipe. 1 rivet is already missing and a second one is loose, so the exhaust pipe will fall off soon if I dont fix it.

I have tried at the Kawasaki shop already, but they could not fix it.

Try Phuket Bike Art. Drive towards town/Bangkok Phuket Hospital from Tesco Lotus and it's about 300m down on the right next to a clinic. Oddly that road has no name on any map I can find.

Thanks, and happy belated birthday! ;)

Thanks, that is close to my house, I cannot drive to fare since it might fall off..

yeah, check the inner rivets on your 2 bros and also tighten up the screws at the end of the exhaust pipe, I have tool for that if you need to get the last part done.

Just to give some feedback since KBB soon has to get new rivets too ;) : Chalong alu and glass got the rivets but they cannot put them on for you. The place ScubaBuddha wrote about fixed the rivets for me. It is nice not to have to worry about the slip on actually slipping of anymore :)

Thanks for the advice.

Not great press for the Two Brothers pipe. Settled it for me; I think I'll go with Scorpion.

Two brothers are junk from the usa and Scorpion are quality but of course you get what you pay for and scorpion pipes arent cheap.

TWO BROS are fantastic pipes, but they really are meant for racing and not for day to day use. Scorpion is a good choice for day to day street use.

Pretty much all positive reviews in the link you posted...

Second post in

Quality control doesn't appear to be all that good, in that some owners complain of poor quality. Others have no complants. The price is low, and if you get a well made one, than it's a bargon.

The point is quality control does seem to be a issue with them.

Plenty more stuff written all over the net about their quality control issues ;)

Lolz, written by someone who probably doesn't even have a TWO BROS. Why don't you quote the guys who actually HAVE the pipe?

"I've had the Two Brother Titanium low pipe just like the one pictured for about a year. Other than being loud, which is to be expected with a straight through design and cat eliminator, I think it is well worth the money. The cat eliminator and muffler make enough difference in performance to be felt in the seat of your pants and save approximately 20 lbs. The quality has been good, no flaws or defects. I have repacked the can once in 15k miles and it is not a difficult job. Drill out a few rivets with the supplied drill bit, take off one end, remove the core, wrap it with new packing and replace. I'd say it takes about the same amount of time as changing the oil. I will repack it again in the next month or so with a prototype Silent Sport repack cartridge I have obtained from Race Tools. Hopefully that will extend the length of time between repacks. As far as customer service, the rep I spoke with when ordering my first repack kit was very polite and helpful. He even included extra rivets so I can repack again with another manufacturers packing material. So, while I occasionally read disparaging things about them, my experience has been a good one. Of course in a perfect world, I would like a an exhaust that offered the same performance and weight reduction benefits, with out the excess noise. "

"I have the same pipe pictured and I have to admit that its louder than I would like. There's no sneaking out at 5 am without waking up the neighbours. But in all fairness, in the year I've had it, I have had no trouble with it. On this site quite a few people say Two Bros. are not good at customer service, but I can't say one way or the other, as I have not had to talk to them yet.

One thing for sure though, it has increased performance. No disappiontment there. Also I would say that the surging is all but gone.

Bottom line is, I would recommend it from my experience. Repacking the muffler each winter isn't much trouble.

Manxman "

"I dig my set up - I've got their Ti C5 full eliminator kit. Also went for the lower pipe as I have 2 full size RT city cases. Fit wasn't perfect for install, took a little coaxing at the eliminator "Y" section, but all and all not too bad. Definite increase in performance - also changed to a K&N filter which helped with a slight flatspot caused by the 2 Bros. Quality and workmanship is as good as Remus or staintune.

I don't mind repacking when it becomes necessary. It's loud but it's a deep loud which I think's less irritating then a sportbikes wailing pitch. Sounds like a bike should now. And while I'm lane splittin the streets of Manghattan it wakes up the zombie jaywalkin yuppies who wander like stupid sheep into the middle of the street with their headphone cellphones - YIKES!!!!

Bottom line - a good deal.naughty.gif"

I would say bottom line is get another brand if you do not want to risk getting a crappy deal like dollraman. First one lost because it fell apart and second one needs new rivets. That together with other skeptical reviews and even self declared know-it-alls claiming that they are no good for day to day use and only cool for occasionally driving in circles, where you can just pick it up from the road again, makes me very wary of those pipes.

Thanks everyone for the info! :jap:

Despite some negative reports, I still like my 2 bros, and no problems.

However the easy install/remove silencer in Arrow is great and my neighbors love it when installed

Scubabudha has some Arrows and Leo Vince for sale

Two Brothers are cookie cutter products mass produced in china.

Pretty sure they are manufactured in the US...

Assembled in America from Chinese parts. American build quality isn't saying all that much.

Ah... first you say they are made in China, then backpedal and say they're made in the US of Chinese parts... Wrong again, but thanks for admitting your mistake ;-)

Craig Erion founded Two Brothers Racing in 1985. Beginning as an AMA Superbike team over twenty years ago, Two Brothers Racing is now recognized throughout the racing world as a leading manufacturer of high-performance motorcycle exhaust systems and accessories. Two Brothers Racing patented exhaust systems are built to reduce bike weight and improve overall torque and power. Manufactured from titanium, carbon fiber and polished aluminum, Two Brothers Racing exhausts combine light weight and superior strength.

Love my Two Bros

who gives a $hit.

LOLZ!

So first it's made in China,

then it's made in the US of Chinese parts,

finally it's "who gives a $hit"...

Thank you for your valuable and informed contribution to this thread :jap:

How about Remus exhausts? They look really sweet. Have any of you guys ever used their products?

Never used one but they've got a good reputation- quite rare here in Thailand.
