The Green Bus Company (Silver and Green Buses), that runs VIP and 1st class A/C buses from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai also services to Mae Sai (Border with Burma) and Chiang Sen (Golden Triangle).

Offices at the New Bus Station, and they have a main bus office just outside the Old Bus Station.

Check with their offices personally for times, availability, and fares. Web site does not show much or any info.

Their Buses park in a lot opposite the big 24 hour PTT 7/11 on the Super Hwy near the old bus station road.

Sorry the new bus station, is that called rainbow station?

There are about 4 aicon services CR to MaeSai a day from the old Bus Station. THey may be continuing busses so may already have passengers when they arrive.
