Will I be able to get my tri band phone activated with a SIM card on Khaosan Road?

If so, is there any reason to visit Pantip or one of the computer centers? more options?

best to get you phone unlocked, if needed before oyu leave for LOS. If there is a problem MBK has easy acces from the Sky train. Up a couple floor is MobileMadness. The Sim cards are cheap and so is unlock, if necessary. First buy a sim for a test and see if it logs on with the 900/1800 option!
