Well, folks....

Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year! A very celebrated event in pagan societies and others as well. After today, the days will get shorter and shorter...not really noticeable at first, especially in these lower latitudes, but we will see the sun track more to the southerly direction as the time goes on. For my part, I hope to enjoy a fine, hand-made, fermented beverage in honor of another orbit around our closest star. But in all reality, will probably have to settle for one of those corporate, mass-produced beverages that are way more easily obtainable here in LOS. Cheers! ett
