Tywais
I just broke down and bought a 42" plasma TV. I knew in advance that UBC would not be spectacular on it. Have the UBC satellite dish and decoder. What I have noticed is there seems to be ghosting in the images along with artifacts (probably from the MPEG II encoding). However in the late evenings the picture actually starts getting better, ghosting substantially less and artifacts less noticible. The picture quality at these times is excellant. Since the satellite data is digital can't figure out how I could get ghosting which is usually associated with reflections of analog signals. Also my decoder box is over 8-years old, wonder if a newer model would improve on the picture quality? Anyone else notice ghosting?
