Calling Uk From Ais Phone

Featured Replies

Hello,

Have AIS phone - have heard a few different choices to call the UK but no clear good value/reliable one.

Can anyone recommend one please (for AIS to UK).

Thanks.

Very expensive compared to True intersim, I think 00500 starts about 14 baht per minute, compared to True intersim 1 baht land lines 7 baht mobiles to the uk.

I use AIS for my Thai calls, and a spare phone for my international.

Buy a prepaid card like ZayHi or ChockDee or DeeDial and you can use it on any 'phone for cheap international calls.

00944 is about 6 Baht a minute from Chiangmai and used to be slightly cheaper from Bangkok

I use my AIS mobile to call CAT pin phone, is a free call on 1544. The CAT pin phone to UK is 2 baht per minute to landline, 6 baht per minute to mobile. You can buy the CAT cards at some 7/11 and Family Mart. There is a website called Thaitelephone where you can buy them online after setting up an account and they are called Thailand calling Card.. I have been using the CAT cards for about 6 years and the quality is good 99% of the time.

I have my AIS phone bill next to me as it arrived yesterday.

If you dial 005 0044 then the UK number it costs 6 baht per minute and that also includes the "premium" 0870 numbers in the UK.

If you dial 005 and 44 instead of 0044 it is more expensive.

I used 19 minutes of international calls last month and the bill for that is 128.60 THB.
