Non B Expires 3 Days Before Issue Of Wp

Featured Replies

ok, so my agent is taking me to labour office on monday to get w.p., but my 3 month ''non b'' expires on the friday before . Any advice as to what I should do?...........thanx

Go to the labour office on Friday before you go to immirgation and get a wp3 form.

If not possible to apply on Friday for the WP, go to immigration and ask for a 7 day under consideration on Friday, costs 1,900 baht and passport size photo.

I renewed my extension of stay and work permit on the 6th and 7th of this month. Immigration, in Khorat, told me to do the work permit first. They would not accept WP3 but wanted the work permit extended first.

Like wise the Labour Office said that it was no problem that I only had 2 days left on my previous extension of stay and issued me with a work permit upto end of contract(one year).

Seems the rules have been reversed. Work Permit first and then Extension of stay.

Yes, the WP is no longer tied to the exension of stay. Thus labour can now issue before you have the extension of stay. Of course the WP can still only be used in combination with a non-immigrant entry.
