whybother Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 . Another Red Shirt Leader, Udomrat Apornrat, could soon become yet another Pheu Thai Party MP after just a few more Cabinet Ministers resign. Currently at number 66. As per above, now there will be even more Red Shirts in Parliament. Now that they will all resign... and there's what, like 25 or so Pheu Thai Party Cabinet Ministers? That will take them down to Party-list number 88 or more. Will have to recheck their roster and see how many more of these out on bail, indicted, etc. will be new Members of Parliament. . Not all of the cabinet ministers are party list MPs. I remember that there were about 10.

Not all of the cabinet ministers are party list MPs. I remember that there were about 10. Ah yes, an aspect I was overlooking. With apologies to the infamous Red Shirt Rak Chiang Mai 51 Group Leader, it doesn't look like he'll get into office with the resignations, but Red Shirt Radio founder and name-changer Shinawat has a shot at it (pardon the pun) and Red Shirt Udomrat will absolutely be added to the distinguished Members of Parliament. The following Cabinet Ministers who are Pheu Thai Party-list MP's: Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister: Yongyuth Wichaidit Deputy Prime Minister: Police Captain Chalerm Yubamrung Foreign Affairs Minister: Surapong Tovichakchaikul Science and Technology Minister: Plodprasop Suraswadi Social Development and Human Security Minister: Santi Prompat Energy Minister: Pichai Naripthaphan Deputy Transport Minister: Kittisak Hatthasonkroh Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister: Pornsak Charoenprasert Deputy Finance Minister: Wirun Techapaiboon Deputy Transport Minister: Police Lieutenant-General Chat Kuldilok .

Buchholz Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) Thaksin tells Pheu Thai ministers to resign party-list MPs Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has told Pheu Thai ministers to vacate their seats of part-list MPs to allow those lower on the ranks to become members of the House And now we have it... In the great new tradition of "Thaksin Thinks, Pheu Thai Act"... The slogan goes on as two more Cabinet Ministers resigned their Pheu Thai Party-list MP today. Social Development and Human Security Minister Santi Prompat and Defence Minister Yutthasak Sasiprapa have resigned. Two new Pheu Thai Party-list MP's (the next two on their roster) will assume their positions in Parliament. . Edited October 18, 2011 by Buchholz
