Chances Of G/f Getting To Uk

Featured Replies

I am sorry if this has been asked a thousand times but i would like to know how i would go about getting my Thai girfriend over here in uk for a holiday.I've been told she would need a passport and have to go to the embessy in Bangkok, but is it true that it would take more than six months and loads of paper work?I would be grateful on any advice on this matter

Cheers Bakes.

I'll put this in the visa section where it'll get a better hearing.

It won't take 6 months, but there is a lot of paperwork involved. You would need to show that you can pay for the holiday and support her whilst she's in the UK. Six months is the longest someone can stay as a visitor.

It's also not a foregone conclusion that she would get a visa, as this will depend upon factors such as the length of your relationship and her circumstances in Thailand.

Scouse.
