Setting Up Encryption Of My True Wireless

Recommended Posts

The technician set up the encryption (64) and it worked fine.

Had to reset the wireless router and the wireless internet works fine again but naturally would have to arrange encryption again.

I get into the settings and chose the 64 bit encryption and the 10 digit hex key. It then tries to update and then crashes, requirering a new reset of router.

I suspect reason is that I am using the wireless (open) network when doing this...guess I should try to do it with the cable plugged in.

My router is the one bought from True and my PC: XP+SP2, 512MB, 1.4GHz.

Any ideas/experiences?

Cheers!
