Flooding In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hi everybody

I hear many people speak about how each year Chiang Mai is receiving a greater rain fall. Obviously Chiang Mai is not an isolated case with the amount of flooding in many provinces.

My concern is that i am considering buying a house in Chiang Mai and areas that have previously been unaffected by heavy rainfall are expreiencing some form of flooding.

This may be insignificant at this point, but if rainfall is increasing some areas are going to be seiously affected in the next few years

I am thinking of building in one of the newer suburbs. Can anyone share if they have experienced any flooding?

Thanks

Howard
