:cheesy:

Sincerity is the most important thing. When you can fake that you've got it made.

Really judge, those were MY shares!

Once again trying to pull Thailand in the right direction for improvement.......

Repetitive comments on this board citing corruption as the main block for Thailand to advance, the electorate making comment about their dislike of corruption and their wish for action

Another initiative which should be greeted with enthusiastic support.......usual sceptics excepted of course

And you don't see just the faintest hint of hypocrisy when someone who lied under oath to help her brother in his corrupt dealings, now takes an oath to fight corruption?

Indeed a great initiative and nice to see P.M. Yingluck joining the battle with k.Abhisit.

There is however, one large problem. The Shinawatra name is as synonymous with corruption in Thailand as Bin Laden's was with terrorism or Capone's with mob violence and tax evasion. One does not become a multi - billionaire by chucking bahts in a piggy bank each week.

You play the game, you get the name.

The next few months will determine how really sincere our P.M. is about the task ahead. Na Ka!

I didn't think so!

BTW she shouldn't "Pull" Thailand, she should lead it by example.

I would like to see evidence of corruption

Define the term "Corruption" first.

Thaksin during his time of power had declared grease money, or tea money in Thailand, as not falling within his definition of corruption.

Posted (edited)

what would you define as corruption ?

Well, to be pedantic try these. I believe one or more of these activities happens in Thailand every second.

corruption

Definition: dishonesty

Synonyms: breach of trust, bribery, bribing, crime, crookedness, demoralization, exploitation, extortion, fiddling, fraud, fraudulency, graft, jobbery, malfeasance, misrepresentation, nepotism, on the take, payoff, payola, profiteering, racket, shadiness, shady deal, shuffle, skimming, squeeze*, unscrupulousness, venality and let's not forget tea money, backhanders, under the table,

my definition would be "personally benefiting from any actions that I take"

Land case judged and defendant found guilty and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment. Fugitive fled overseas and passport (red?) will be returned to fugitive by present PM who is taking an oath against corruption...:clap2:

I hate to repeat my previous posting;

what's the relationship between the FIDF, BoT and the PM's Office ?

and where is the evidence that Thakin is corrupted ?

Law was passed by Thaksin's government. Facts of the case are in court reports. Primary piece of evidence was Thaksin's signature to the Land Dept allowing his wife to acquire land auctioned by a government controlled body.

have you ever considered that the judgement was flawed ?

Yes, that should always be considered. And then we (including you) can read through the judgement and find out that it wasn't.

and where is the evidence that Thakin is corrupted ?

Ask him............he will lie................anyway everything was politically motivated...........so that must be the truth, been here long-??? or in denial ????

 aren't some people naive, even with the recent government actions of reshuffling so many top government servants...:jap:
